din realise i din blog for a week....time really flies....
went to shimbashi soba at paragon yesterday...it's a relatively new restaurant at the extension of paragon....there's many new shops at paragon now but they cater for the rich...all the high-end brands such as prada, miu miu....the only stuff i can afford are probably benetton and sisley...hehe... back to the food, there have been raves on magazines and the papers on how good the food is, so i decided to give it a try...i ordered a chilled soba with duck....the noodles was kinda 'q', unlike those u get at those conveyor belt sushi restaurants....the most special thing gotta be the buckwheat soup they give at the end of your meal...it's for u to pour into the sauce where u dipped the soba and 'ta da' u got a soup to drink.... the restaurant has high tea too...great place to rest ur feet after shopping...they have red bean desserts (my favourite)....gotta try it out someday... i also helped amanda to buy the esquire magazine that she wanted...had zaizai on the cover...feel kinda embarrassed when i paid up...will the cashier think i'm a F4 fan...haha....if she does, it's so embarrassing... i procrastinate even when it comes to blogging...my goodness....wat i'm going to say below happened on mon...and it's oredi wed now...haha...
anyway, i went to suki sushi at marine parade on mon evening...i was supposed to meet my frens at 5 but i reached at 6...i know i'm always late but not this late....it's the bus journey...din expect it to take an hour...and i din dare to sleep...afraid that i will miss the stop... the dinner buffet was quite value for money...spent abt $18...and i got food like soft shell crab, calamari, grilled chicken wings...no need to worry if it's red plate or wat...and we ordered everything in 5 people's portion...haha...quite embarrassed when we saw the waitress coming with a tray of food...haha.... it's been quite a while since i met up with my uni yr 1 frens....too bad we went diff specialization.... nearly got a heart attack during bank management class today....we were supposed to prepare an article for presentation each week....but a lazy bum like me, din prepare for the last tutorial session of the sem...cos i thot the prof would be too busy with the 3 tutorials he's supposed to go through...
rite after he stepped into the class, he read out a list of names and asked those pple to present...luckily my name wasn't inside...time seemed to have came to a halt while waiting for the him to read out the names....it's like a convict waiting for the judge to announce his verdict.... seems like my luck is not that bad ah.... exam is nearing and i'm still procrastinating....wat's wrong with me???
feeling kinda down cos i juz wasted another day away....sighz..... went to coronation to have lemon chicken rice today....i used to go there when i was in jc....the food was nice and cheap...but if i din remember wrongly, the price of it has gone up...cost me $4 for lunch, thot it used to cost ard $3....must be due to inflation or wat...haha....everything still looks the same as it was....oh, nostalgia again.... proceeded to this cafe 'choupinette' beside coronation....quite a cosy place with fashion magazine such as elle, vogue and vanity fair...the latest issues somemore....the owner is a caucasian lady, who may be a french cos of the paris postcards she had in the menu....she has really cute kids...shd go there again when i have the chance.... saw a really cool pair of adidas at pacific plaza....it looks quite vintage, with brown floral prints...but alas, it costs $179....pricey pricey....will put it on my wish list instead... juz joined friendster recently...makes me realise how few friends i have....haha....anyway, it's quite cool to be in touch with the old classmates...as photos can be uploaded, can see how they look like now as well....most still look the same though...
a feeling of nostalgia comes back to me...reminds me of the time in rv...here are some of the memorable incidents.... 1. My lower sec class being the champion for cross country and sports day for 2 consecutive years....but the banners got stolen away by some childish pple....also, we wasn't announced as the champ on one of the sports day due to some error and my class went crying....the staff are so blur, we won so many races, how is it possible that we aren't in the top 3 at all... 2. being scolded by ivy cheong for lending my tutorial to lilian and pam....wat a b****....she din copy homework for her all life b4 ah... 3. rv being vandalized when i was in sec 1...was expecting more of such incidents to happen...but it din occur....chey.... 4.joining a silly current affairs quiz....totally freaked out on the stage... 5. mr tham coming to our class to give boring talks....yawnz.... 6. being situated on the grd level during upper sec cos of one classmate....brings some kind of convenience eg: going to the canteen faster than other....haha.... 7. my worst nightmare....having ng lay leng as my physics teacher and ivy cheong as my chem teacher... 8. sec 3 camp...jumping into the dirty sea water...yucks....i can't swim...thot i was gonna die or wat....and the canoe was so heavy....luckily i asked for help, if not can't imagine wat will happen to yumei's shoulder if i let go....looking back, the camp was quite fun actually....hehe i guess there are more interesting incidents that happened during my rv days, juz that i can't think of them off hand now....hehe....will continue the list when i manage to recall....
