happy birthday, amanda...if u are reading this....
been exactly 2 weeks since i last updated my blog...not that i got nothing to say, in fact i wanted to blog about the olympics...but it's gonna be over anyway...will blog about it in 2008, if my blog still exists by then... my house is being re-painted and i gotta disconnect the modem from the pc, so that the workers won't trip and fall...and i'm too lazy to re-connect it once they left...when i finally decided to plug it back today, i forgot how to do it...staring blankly at the splitter, modem and wires...but eventually i took about 10 min to figure it out and i'm online again... by the way, i'm oredi into my 4th day into my first job....just when i thot i'm gonna be a processing machine, i was told i will be handling statistics...i was freaked out instantly...a big computer idiot like me is going to work with MS Office everyday...i suck at these programs,only know the very very basics...though i put a 'high' at computer competency...haha...what's more, i nearly fainted when i saw all the files and folders in the hard disk...i dun even organise my own hard disk and now my responsibility is to do that...my goodness... as usual, the first few days of work is spent on training, nothing much to do as the data haven't been sent in yet...just when i'm slacking at work today, i was told to do up a spreadsheet based on some data which a colleague would give me...but she din get the data right and the boss raised his voice at her...at that moment, i was picturing myself in that scenario...hopefully i won't burst out crying if it happens to me...sobz sobz... that's not the worst part yet...while doing the spreadsheet, a colleague was telling me extra information not on the printout that's to be inserted into the spreadsheet...it's like dictation manz...and there are 3 pairs of eyes staring at me...the boss, the colleague and the training colleague...it was super scary k...please lor, i hope there aren't many of such urgent documents next time...i will juz get a heart attack... 
and i juz realised i lost this form which i supposed to fill in what my phone extension is once i have one...sianz...must have submitted it together with the stack of forms which i filled in on my first day of work...gonna email the HR girl tomolo, hope she dun curse and swear at me...haha... i realised unemployment isn't that bad after all...
some of my friends are doing financial advising and i became one of their potential clients...fortunately i can use umemployment as an excuse...oops, i mean reason for rejection...in fact, my bank account is running dry...i'm so broke till i dun even have the minimum amount stipulated by the bank for waiver of service charge...sighz...but at least i have a good enough reason to reject their offer...hehe... as the saying goes 'if u can't beat them, join them' and i'm sick of unemployment, i have decided to go into financial advising too...no lah, i'm juz kidding...one of my lame jokes again...hope no one got frightened...haha...
