after a few internet-less days...i'm finally online...on broadband...haha...ok, i know most pple are on broadband centuries ago...and i did part of installation myself....a great achievement for an IT idiot like me....
went to hand in my first draft for fyp a few days ago...3 groups went to see the tutor together and he actually asked why we did a weekly analysis for the report....excuse me, you were the one that said so last november....and now all his project gruops gotta rerun the regressions....sickening...and the deadline is approaching in 2 weeks...and he actually got the cheek to say 'good bye and don't sleep'...it's not funny lor...but at least he seems a nicer fella nowadays...he can be super mean sometimes...he must have gotten a lousy staff evaluation last sem...haha.... i'm tired....
have been doing my fyp since last sem...but the work is neverending...there's a lot to do but dunno how to go abt doing it...how am i supposed to know the reason behind the rejection of hypothesis...if i do, i wouldn't even have to study now....i take over the professors already...sighz....but the deadline is coming, so by hook or by crook, it would eventually be done and i'll be free from misery....yeah.... anyway, i saw my jc fren from accountancy who asked if i've found a job...of course not, i haven't even get my resume ready...but she oredi gotten a job in deloitte, a big 4 accounting firm....and another fren got a job in KPMG, also one of the big4....makes me wonder am i the only one that's so unenthusiastic in looking for a job...i'm probably gonna spend my life slogging at work, so why start work so early....although there were recruitment talks held by ubs, barclays and other international banks, i'm not sure if i wanna spend my life being a financial analyst...i've been in banking and finance for 2 yrs and i'm not exactly very keen on looking at financial statements and analysing which comapny is gonna perform well, keeping a constant lookout on the exchange during wee hours to track performance of stocks and futures.... forget it...instead of thinking abt all these, might as well spend the effort thinking of a graduation trip....haha... a welfare fest going on in sch....
bought a pair earrings at the fest...handmade by the stall holder....reminds me of the ambitious days when i wanted to make my own....haha...then there's this singnet broadband roadshow as well and they give students a discounted price...i'm still using obsolete dial-up, and my computer is obsolete...one day, i'll be obsolete too...so i decided to upgrade...finally...haha...but gotta find a way to upgrade my windows....sianz...the promotor asked me when i'm graduating and he said he want to hire me...haha... there's also a milo truck, reminds me of the cross country days...wanted to walk past the truck without getting the milo, but since there's no queue, might as well get a free drink rite...auntie instinct....my sch gives away fast food occasionally too...kfc zinger, burger king etc...but i have never queue for those, cos the line is never-ending and i dun be to be caught being greedy....haha... had the choice of doing project in sch or going to the bridal shop with my sis....but i thot i prob won't get another chance to step into a bridal shop since no one wants to marry me, so of course i chose the latter....besides, project is boring...
went to milan wedding collection at tanjong pagar....i wonder izzit juz me, but i really think bridal gowns are so gorgeous...esp the ultra long ones....and the lacy ones...and it seems so sweet to plan a wedding together with your loved one...helping each other to choose the perfect outfit...deciding which hotel is the best to hold the banquet...so on and so forth... i guess valentine's day planning is juz a mini scale of wedding planning...had been hearing pple talking abt vday dinner, vday gift, vday activity etc for the past few days...putting in so much effort juz to make this day a memorable one for their loved one is a really touching gesture...wonder if anyone is willing to put in such effort for me next time... there's a couple of nice programmes on tv recently....american idol 3, survivor all stars and next week, there's gonna be the wedding of ryan and trista....channel 5 gotta show this when it's near vday, how cruel can this be....haha....
anyway, it's really funny to see the pple auditioning for a place on american idol...i really admire the courage of some pple...and no one can beat simon's sarcasm....for those who missed the show, this is for you.....u must go watch the clip k....it's a new version of ricky martin's 'she bangs'....haha.... tomolo is a big day....
the toto draw money for tomolo is $10 million dollars...that's a lot lor....imagine all the stuff u can do with $10 million....there's still one more day to place your bets, so get going now...hehe.... Here's a list of wat i'm gonna do when i have $10 million.... 1. quit school (nah...juz kidding...i would be mad to quit sch when i'm abt to graduate soon....) 2. shop till i drop....won't even need to look at price tags.....a new wardrobe every season...haha... 3. visit all the countries that i always wanted to go...japan, spain, italy,.....and the list goes on.... 4. grant pple's wishes....yah, so tell me wat u want now k... 5. learn how to drive and buy a car....no need to squeeze on public transport anymore.... 6. renovate my house....make it look like those in 'home and decor'.... 7. start thinking of entrepreneuring ideas....i'm gonna be my own boss.... 8. and of course, help pple who are in need....can't spend all that money yourself rite..... 9. put the remainder in the bank while i think of wat to do with the money....even though the interest rate is so low, can still get thousand plus dollars as interest... ok, meiyi...stop daydreaming....and get back to your FYP....
