Happy CNY, everyone!
Saw some friends last Sat. Just when i thought they probably didn't see me, since it's so crowded in Orchard road, they shouted my name across the escalators. I was on the escalator going upwards, while he was going downwards. Kinda like a romantic comedy ah. Didn't had the chance to catch up, unfortunately. Met up with a friend i knew since primary sch last week. We didn't contact each other in sec sch and jc but got re-connected during uni. Glad that she asked me out for lunch when she returned from Australia. Had dinner with a friend whom i haven't seen her for long. Hope everything goes well for her, always admired how family-oriented she is. It's quite comforting to know that there are still friends who can be bothered with you, friends whom you still have lots to talk about despite not meeting up for a long time, friends who make the effort to find time for a gathering. I have always believed that it is affinity that brings pple together. Likewise, if paths diverge, it is pre-destined. To those who still regard me as a friend, i thank you for coming into my mundane life. For those who have stepped out of my life, i thank you for letting me realise who i can count on as friends.
